    Do you have a very long normal screw? Screw it in but it has to be long enough to keep it in top of the cork. Take some kind of pincers/nippers or whatever you have and try to pull the screw out.

    " I scoop into a paper bag I keep in a sealed bucket " I use (strong) alum.foil for that. I put a big strip infront and scoop on that you just fold it to close after that. It does not smell and I just put it in the carbage.
