the ones at wal-mart were not the ones I was looking for.
The ones on ebay look right. I'll check with the feed store in town today (I hadn't thought of trying them) before jumping on ebay. Thanks!
A number of years ago, I had an "auto water" for my cat that used a regular bottle, such as a two liter bottle (I think 1 liter would have worked too). I LOVED it.. mostly because I could use the bottle a number of times, then throw it away for a new bottle. I had a cat that passed away in 1985...
to me, if that was the case, I'd expect my vet to keep the cat for observation for those 48 hours. cause cats like kids can find all kinds of things to ingest - most of which they shouldn't - if they get hungry enough. (dust, grass, hair, soap, etc)
I'd also suggest finding a new vet, and...
thanks for all the advise.
strangely, I'm finding that the wand moves during the day and night.. all on its own. but if I try to use it, the cat wants nothing to do with it. (I've used them before so i don't think it is truly operator error)

as many know by now, I have a couple of cats from a shelter. One of the cats I have brought in and will be an indoor cat (maybe indoor outdoor, but she doesn't show any interest in bolting out of doors yet)...
thanks.

I know that with people, usually it takes 7-10 days for illness to show from the time that a person gets infected... but how long with a cat?
Today I noticed that one cat is having problems breathing as his nose is clogged with mucas - but when MIGHT he have gotten sick to begin with. the other...
She moved out of her shelter fairly quickly - I think she was forced out really...
Her roommate also stays in his cage, but towards the front....
but these two are still very firmly staying in the back of their enclosure. I have found one using the litter box in the middle of the day for...
My experience has been that cats will often step aside for possums and racoons. we use to laugh at our cats getting upset with anyone else eating their food.. but if a possum walked it, they acted like maitre d's "table for one? this way." and they would always just sit there until the possum...
