Hello there!
It's been a while since I have been around. My cat, Nala now gets along with the dogs great and she is almost seven months give or take a week (maybe two ).
Our concern is that we give her wet food whenever she cries for it, and that can be anytime (4 am, at lunch, dinner, before...
I don't have a lot of information, but that was the food my kitten was fed while she was in foster care. I did switch her off of it though.
The first three ingredients aren't that bad. (Water sufficient for processing, chicken, chicken liver.) Compared to other foods, those aren't that bad...
That's really good to hear, thanks.
I didn't even think about freezing the food, thank you for telling me that.
I do have to other questions that maybe you guys could help me out with also. I'm trying to make sure she is getting enough food/ not too much food. Her bag of dry food says she...
Hey everyone!
I first want to say I do apologize if there are 80 billion post like this one, but I did search and didn't see exactly what my questions are.
I have a now... 16 or 17 week old kitten, and she is amazing and great. When we got her, she was in foster care, however it was clear that...

We did the same type of visits as Wednesday night. We brought one dog at a time into the hallway into a laying down postion. We let Nala decide if she was going to go see the dog or not. She got within about one foot of our more gentile, less aggresive dog. She got about two feet from...
My Kitten does seem to bite me once and a while too, and while I know she is little and still learning/playing I can't tolerate that behavior all the time.
I have heard that ignoring them will work but Nala seems to do it more when I do that!
Im interested to see what people have to say!
I remember google searching for the best grain free foods, on the market for cats.
Aparently, that same question was asked here. I found it and soon saw home awesome it was that you could ask you own question instead of google and hope something similar comes up.
JULY 23 (Evening):
We allowed the kitten to smell the dogs chew toy and we dangled her feather toy around it and on it to make her play by their scent.
July 24 (Evening):
Nala has been crying a lot, and she wanted to explore so bad. Part of my anxiety about the introduction, was that I have...
So as some of you know I recently adopted a kitten from a shelter.
I also own two golden retrievers, that I love dearly. They are older 7 and 9. They have been around cats before and they were never aggressive and they don't chase. They are merely super curious and they want to smell her...
She still is coughing, but I can tell it's less and it sounds like whatever it is is breaking up.
Her flea medicine seemed to nip them in the butt and we washed all bedding, pillows, etc.
She was very sleepy today but still playful at times, eats normal, and is going to the bathroom, so I hope...
Thanks, I did read some of those articles. Yes my dogs are pretty gentle (usually) unless they are being a little rowdy when they play, but that can be diverted if you just tell them no. The dogs seem to just be really curious, there hasn't been any barking or growling on their part, just...
Yeah that is true! If they are going to get mad and fight I guess they might as well get it out of their system, but i really hope to go slow enough that that doesn't happen
Our dogs have been around cats, and they never have chased, they just want to smell and play. They have never lived with one before though. They are pretty gentile. They are golden retrievers, so they tend to also listen to us pretty well. They are bigger dogs though. (One is 75 pound the other...
