I did try petfinder but just see where I can adopt a pet. I am in Pittsburgh PA.

I have tried that I put the cat in the bathroom for a couple months while I tried finding a home for him but no takers then I took him to the local Animal Rescue League. I felt so bad putting him in the bathroom too. I have to get him tomorrow or they will put him down.

I was wondering that. I do know someone that would let him live in their backyard although its not fenced but there are a lot of cats around there and my cat has only ever been an indoor cat plus now its snowy and freezing temperatures where I am and thinking he wont last long. :(

Does anyone know if someone sells a cooling type mat for cats to lay on in the hot weather?  I have 1 ac unit in my apartment but my cat still seems hot.  I asked Petco about it, but the had no clue what I was talking about.  Something my cat can lay on to make him feel cooler?  Thanks.

Yes he is fixed, he's been fixed for well over a year now.  We buy him toys to be entertained and he seems to love them for the first day then looses interest quick.
