It's always right in front of the litter box or just a few inches to the left.  I used to keep a towel there but have since removed it and it didn't make a difference.  The box is hooded and it doesn't mater if I have the hood on or off.

Well they had there first encounter today. I feed then both one on each side of a door. When Chewy realized there was a cat on the other side of the door he threw himself at the door and she hissed and swatted. So I ordered the peacemaker... hopefully the next time I try it it will go better...
