    Zymox and neutering

Hi! My 6 month old kitten got neutered today. He's also getting Zymox ear solution for yeast in his ear. Can I still give it to him as he recovers from the neutering? I can't find any drug interaction warnings online and the vet didn't mention anything. Thanks!

    Human allergies to cats

I'll be honest that I dint brush regularly. I have a 12 yr old resident kitty, 4 month old kitten, and the semi feral momma. Momma cat will be the hardest to brush. I was thinking about buying Allercat to put on to brush their fur with.

    Human allergies to cats

Thanks for responding. I read through some of the threads before. We don't let the cats in her room and bought a air purifier. She takes allergy medicine but is still having symptoms. We don't know if it's cat because she also has tree and grass allergies.

    Human allergies to cats

Anyone use Purina Pro Live Clear food for their cat or kitten. My daughter has tested positive for cat allergies amongst many other allergens. I want to try every possible solution before I even consider the unthinkable (rehoming).

Is Anyone Else Allergic to Your Cats?

I don't have cat allergies but my 6 yr old tested positive for cat allergies. She has lived with multiple cats her whole life and no reactions until recently. She tested positive on a skin test in Sept 2021 and nothing was different until April 2022. She has seasonal allergies as well so hoping...

Does anyone ever feel guilty about keeping semi ferals inside?

Yes! It's wonderful. They can do basic vet care- check up, weight check, vaccines, rabies vaccine, blood tests, fecal test, prescribe medicine, etc. The mobile vet I found cannot do surgeries or x-rays and isn't an emergency vet but does everything else. It's great and has been ideal for...

Does anyone ever feel guilty about keeping semi ferals inside?

I had a mobile vet come out for her and the kittens. I love the mobile vet but he doesn't spay/neuter. My semi feral did have to get sedated for the vet. She got too scared even while on gabapentin.

Does anyone ever feel guilty about keeping semi ferals inside?

I just started with the carrier training so not much is happening but I leave it out and put treats in there. She explores and smells it so far. That's awesome that your kitty goes in the carrier without hesitation!

Does anyone ever feel guilty about keeping semi ferals inside?

I have a semi feral that I took in about 3 months ago when she gave birth on my doorstep. I had been feeding her and petting her here and there for at least a year at that point. I can't handle her either but she acts similar to your cat. I'm still working on training her to go in the carrier...

So sad about kittens getting adopted

They were there for only about 2 hours and are snuggling already very close to one of their other cats (another rescue). They seem to be adjusting just fine. How long until momma cat stops grieving. I how she is comforted by still having one kitten.

So sad about kittens getting adopted

I know this is very common, just looking for some comforting words. I'm keeping one kitten and the stray momma but giving the other 2 kittens to my brother. They are 10 weeks, I know a little older is preferred but due to travel we have to do it at 10 weeks. I feel good that 2 kittens are...

    Socialization progress going backwards

How would you interpret this behavior? I let them all out of the bathroom this evening as usual. Momma came out right away too which was great. I was putting out food and she seemed excited and interested, rubbed my leg a couple times and then hissed and swatted at my leg. Did she create her...
