mystery discharge something to be concerned about?

yes they are both acting normal. I didn't find a hairball or anything near the discharge spots, though. our old cat has never ever had an issue with hairballing, so I'm totally unfamiliar with what that is all about please bear with me

mystery discharge something to be concerned about?

we have 2 cats, one is 3.5yr the other is about 9 months. Both female, both fixed. sunday we came home and found two odd puddles on the floor, one was watery with a bit of yellow in it, the other was watery with a bit of pink in it. it had no noticeable odor so I don't think it was urine. Both...

introducing new female to resident female

we have a fixed female cat and are looking for a companion I've heard stories going both way, as to whether it's better to introduce a male to a female. Will two females be enemies for life in spite of my best efforts? Does it matter whether or not either of them is or is not fixed?

strong urine smell from male that was neutered late in life?

we've been looking at getting a male cat who is a retired breeder. He's 4 years old and is getting neutered now. Our vet had told us that the urine smell, even in litter, from a potent male cat is very strong, and usually persists for a long time after fixing. They keep them in a separate room...

    himalayan vs. ragamuffin shedding

hmm our himi/rag cat has more hair than the pure himi does. I use the term "brush" loosely, we do have to comb our cat aswell as use the slicker brush. The person who has the new cat said his coat is somewhat different right now than usual because he's got hormones raging from being bred, but...

    himalayan vs. ragamuffin shedding

Hello I have a cat who is a cross of a pure himalayan and pure ragamuffin. We find that she sheds more in sporatic clumps of hair around the floor, rather than totally coating surfaces with hair like I notice shorthaired cats do. She also gets brushed at least once a day, with a haircut a few...
