    Cat baths in a bag

Thankfully I didn't get scratched up. She just clung to the sides of the tub for dear life. Poor girl. Never again.

    Cat baths in a bag

Well, I decided to give her a bath last weekend and wow. I really should have listened to everyone. It was a nightmare for both parties involved. With that said, she smelled and looked so much better afterwords. However I couldn't help but think it set us back as far as our bonding process...

    New Cat Owner Saying Hello

Well it has been over two weeks now and Twitch is apparently feeling pretty well. She has more interest in toys and things around the house than she ever did, and she has become quite playful and active as well! She's a great cat. Thanks again for the welcome.

    Cat baths in a bag

Good information here. . I don't plan on making baths a regular thing, I just figured it would be good to clean her after being in the shelter. Her fur is very ruffled and even after grooming her with a brush, it goes back to ruffled in very short time. I just switched her to new food. She...

    New Cat Owner Saying Hello

Seems like every day keeps getting better. Yesterday a number of firsts happened! She used her scratching pad for the first time, wanted to play with a mouse made of rope, and eating a lot better (almost too well), and even this morning she woke me up by playing with my feet in bed. heh...

    Cat baths in a bag

Thanks for the replies. I ask mainly because I just adopted her last week and I wanted to get the shelter funk off of her. Plus she is shedding pretty hard and hair is a bit ruffled.

    New Cat Owner Saying Hello

Thanks for the kind words and greetings! It's been an exciting week with Twitch. It has also bummed me out a little bit with her being sick. Yes, she is on anti-biotics (4th day) and I think she's getting better. Each day seems to bring a new level of energy, although she still wants nothing...

Has anyone ever broken a tooth?

I broke one of my forward teeth on a soda cap (don't ask heh). I had no pain, but it was a little bothersome having this big chunk of tooth fall out of my mouth. Had to get that tooth grinded down and a root canal with crown.

    Favorite BBQ Foods?

I think anything that comes off the BBQ grille will gladly go down my throat into my tummy.

    Email rant

My mom sends me these types of emails all the time, but I don't have the heart to tell her that they are bogus. I did send the link to Snopes recently, so I hope she'll use it soon. No, Bill Gates does NOT want to send me 1000 or I will die in 10 minutes.

For American Idol Fans: David C. Or David A.? ***WARNING -SPOILERS***

I've been a big David C fan and I still am, but unfortunately I don't think his performances were good enough to win over Gaspuletta. I absolutely can't stand David A, but might as well fast forward over tonight's results show because he's gonna be the winner. David A will fade into obscurity...

    Cat baths in a bag

I was at Petsmart the other day and I noticed they had these 'baths in a bag" type of thing. I suppose it's a large wet-nap type of thing and the instructions say all you need to do is wrap your cat up in it, pet it's hair with the cloth, and then allow it to air dry. Has anyone had any...

    Internet Problems(kind of ventish)

There are a few problems that you will face. The first is that it's clear there's a password required to connect the computer to the laptop. Depending on what encryption is being used, you will either have no chance of breaking it, or if it's a week encryption, you might have a chance, but...

    Cell phones and electrical storms?

I don't think using these devices in doors will be cause for any concern. As others have said, it's really the lightning hitting the house or telephone pole and having that electricity come into your house over the wires is the big issue. If lightning strikes your house, the charge is going...
