Hi everyone. My two cats are fed a combination of wet and dry food. I feed them wet food each morning and evening and they are free fed a small amount of dry during the day. The dry food I'm feeding is TikiCat Born Carnivore. Even though it's supposed to be one of the better dry food choices...
Hello everyone. I recently ordered two bags of TikiCat Born Carnivore dry catfood for my two precious furbabies from my usual online retailer. They arrived this week and I was shocked when I checked the Best By date on each of the bags - both are only two months away from their suggested Best By...
That's good to know. I am an overprotective catmom at times. Ok pretty much all the time lol I had no idea there were other types like honeysuckle. I'll check into it ☺
Hi. My cats are 10 and 7 years old and I want to get them some new toys. My 7 year old does ok with catnip, but my 10 year old hasn't had a catnip toy for about 2 years. Is it safe to allow my 10 year old cat to play with catnip or should catnip be avoided as cats age?
Thanks in advance.
For sure! I am also going to change her brand of wet food, but want to complete the dry food transition first. Once she's eating 100% of her new dry food, how long would you recommend waiting before starting the wet food transition?
Thank you so much for asking. Yes, she is eating the new food. I'm halfway through the transition, currently mixing her foods 50-50 and will start moving towards 75-25 in the next day or two. I'd rather go a little slow than too fast. All has been going well with no digestive issues 😊
