I ended up taking her to the local emergency clinic this evening and they checked her out and put her on clavamox. She was frequenting the litterbox and then trying to urinate in other places in the house. So, she's on the road to recovery.

It's obvious today that one of my kitties has a UTI. Due to it being Sunday, I can't get to the vet until tomorrow. Is there anything I can do for now for her? I feel so bad for her.

Thanks for the responses! The marbles are a great idea! I still don't trust the cat though, lol! Only because she's extremely old and sometimes doesn't seem to know what she's doing. I didn't even think to cover the foil with a nice fabric or something. Great ideas!

Those two love plastic bags and finished wood. I know about the plastic bag fixation, but the wood.. just the strangest thing.

Two of my cats like to lick wood. It's seems they like stained, finished wood. I've caught them licking a oak chest, doors, and the trim around windows in the house. I catch them doing it alot. Anybody know why? It's weird, lol.
