I am so happy to hear that he has turned around...not only for humans and other cats but for himself as well. He is probably less anxious now that he knows human are not here to hurt him. Very creative with the set up! I could never bring mine indoors as I am allergic and my family members are...
This has already been posted twice, but I can't help but post it again!
I've been wanting to catch Billy for 10 months now for dental surgery. Basically, 5 teeth were rotting, including 2 canines, so they were finally removed. I hope he feels much better now, though I know he hated every second...
This guy needed 3 rounds of anesthetics before getting knocked out - he is quite the fighter!
Sunday 5 rotten teeth were removed (2 canines!) and he seems to be recovering well and hated every second in the crate. Poor guy didn't eat/drink/poop for 2 1/2 days.
Thank you to all for your suggestions and comments. I was able to find a drop trap to borrow then successfully capture my feral who had terrible dental disease/rotting teeth. I am happy to report he had surgery Sunday to removed 5 teeth (two canines gone!) and seems to be recovering quite well...
I've read around the internet about using Benedryl on cats or dogs for various reasons (allergies or to calm them down). I don't know anything about medicating animals. What is everyone's experience or opinions about this?
Hi all,
I've run out of options and need to use a drop trap to catch my half feral who is limping and has severe dental disease. Can anyone provide tips on using a drop trap, where to get one, as well as how to transfer? I am watching youtube for suggestions, but would like any advice you all...

I've tried the humane trap 3 years ago when I had him neutered. It was on loan so I was used my large dog cage when I had to take him to the vet for rabies shot. I am hoping he forgot about the humane trap; just bought one and lined it with the blankets that he sleeps on and also just leaving it...
I haven't thought of a drop trap, so thank you for this suggestion. I was thinking of buying one of those wild animal traps (where they step on the little lever which closes the door behind them) today and trying that out.
I would like to make him an indoor cat, but he will only wander into...
Hi all,
I have been caring for two semi ferals (fixed) since 2013. The male in particular never got over the fear of humans. I noticed him limping but can't catch him. Since the last vet visit, he figured out the cage. No amount of cat food (dry and wet), treats, human food, or cat nip can lure...
