Hello. My cat does like that wheezy kinda cough. Maybe like three times a week? I asked for radiographs and the vet said she might have a small asthma problem or lung worms so she was on dewormer. She’s still doing the cough thing. She was a street cat before I brought her in but shes maybe 8...
My cat off and on plays in his water. I’ve tried a water fountain. We recently switched to a flat normal bowl about six months ago. He was fine until now but he’s started pawing at his water again. How do I stop this?
Well I noticed the other day I fed him four times. Usually I feel him 2-3 times. He gets 1/3 when I wake up 1/3 when I get home (go to class and work for 8-12 hours) and then if his bowl is empty when I go to bed I give him 1/3 cup. I don’t really have the money to feed him wet food all the...
So my cat is a year old boy. Pretty active. Weighs around 8 ibs. I’ve been giving him one Sheba proportion pate in the morning and free feeding him. Today I filled up his bowl four times with the Purina One Indoor Advantage. Each with 1/3 cup scoop. Is this too much? He’s still growing a little...
Yeah we do that at my moms because they have a cat that isn’t 100% on board with my cat. It’s just super hard to do 24/7 and we’re trying to go for the least stressful option, especially when we’re running out the door in the morning.
Hello, me n my boyfriend are moving in together and so are our cats. I’m thinking of getting a room divider and having each cat spend 12 hours a day on each side. It’s a 2 bedroom apartment so they’d each have their own rooms. We can take the divider down after a few weeks but I know my cat at...
Yeah that’s what we did when he first got here. Not he’s pretty comfortable with the whole house and he and my parents cat talk through the screen door to the back porch because she’s an indoor/outdoor cat. I feel like I’ve taken the right steps to get them acclimated but it’s just not 100%...
We’re visiting them. My parent scat usually stays in my sisters room. Thats her territory. And we’ve been working on introducing them like once a week every few months. Everytime I open the door he runs to her and then hides somewhere in the room she’s in. I don’t understand
Edit: we did the whole process of one in one out and then letting them see eachother through the door and then letting them paw at eachother through a crack in the door
hi so I have a 7 month old male cat and he’s nutered and I’ve been introducing him to my parents cat slowly since I got him. We aren’t here all the time but we’re here enough that he remembers her. She’s a fat 7 year old cat that honestly is so lonely she jsit wants a friend. He acts like he...
Yeah I thought that might be it. It’s like really in his fur though so he must really be screwing up the whole going to the litter box thing but he’s not a pro as is. I called his vet who didn’t know what is was so he has an appointment in a couple weeks. I guess I’ll try a new litter?
