My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He is now 13 years old, recently lost a leg to osteosarcoma. The vet says some cats recuperate from this disease. We are currently giving him daily insulin injections (very small dosage). Our questions are:

Thanks for all the letters regarding our cat Hobbsie. His surgery went well, and after a period of adjustment, he seems to be doing better as is now walking more. As promised, I have attached photos of our little tripod. His cousin Max is very interested in him and often stays close by...
After his surgery he returned home and appeared to do very well, walking more each day, but still not his old self.
We needed to take him back to stay at the vet for 1 week while we were away. (He was checked by the vet at this time and also has an appointment in a few weeks). After picking him...

We just found out that our oldest cat, Hobbs, has bone cancer in his front leg. The results of the biopsy will be back in a week. At that time the Vet will make a decision regarding the extent of the amputation required.
We're not sure if it is vaccine related but I wanted to share the news...
