Hobbsie is doing quite well after his surgery this afternoon and is under pain management. The Vet feels he should make a good recovery. He also mentioned that he was amazed that Hobbs didn't feel pain from the tumor. We'll keep you updated and, at the appropriate time, post some pics of our boy.

We had an x-ray of the lungs done on 7/17. Here is an excerpt from the vet's notes: "We took an X-Ray of his leg and lungs as well. The lungs were clear; there is no sign of metastatic disease". He is having the leg removed today. Thanks for your note.

The Vet thinks it's fibrosarcoma

We just found out that our oldest cat, Hobbs, has bone cancer in his front leg. The results of the biopsy will be back in a week. At that time the Vet will make a decision regarding the extent of the amputation required. We're not sure if it is vaccine related but I wanted to share the news...
