New to catsite. Hoping to find some answers for my sick cat. Zorro a male cat has pseudomonas. It is an infection that is constant. No cure. It causes mucas in my cat's throat. He sneezes and tries to cough up mucas constantly. Vet has me treating him with strong antibiotics. My problem is that after a month of giving him meds, he no longer will let me near him. He needs another month of meds. I had the vet prescribe a compound in liquid form. I have tried crushing pill and putting in food, tried putting liquid in food, tuna, and baby chicken food (his favorite), however he never finishes any of it. He sounds worse now. Having a hard time breathing. My vet says that stress can make it worse. I do not want to continue chasing him and stressing him.
Does anyone know of an easier way to get him to take meds? My vet says there is not an antibiotic shot for him to take.
I would like to find anything natural. Any suggestions?
