Hi Chris, I am going through the same thing with my cat and I have some questions about your story. You said your vet bill was around $400 dollars. That seems awfully cheap to me. I was wondering if you live in the United States or in Canada? Also, how old is Cordeilla? My cat is 17 1/2 years old.

Hi. She actually passed away shortly after this surgery. They got the throat cancer but they found cancer in the stomach area (X-ray) about 2-3 weeks later. We live in Iowa. So there is a university vet in Ames IA that is reasonable prices because it is a learning facility with students. It was cheap and the reason we drove 2 hours to get there. The vet estimate for the same surgery in town was 3x that.
Baby food was working though. Just the stomach cancer was too much and too fast.
