Just wait it out for now.
She hasn’t ate anything other than her normal cat food. She’s really picky about what she eats so I don’t see her eating anything she wasn’t supposed to. She threw up twice, the last time was almost 5 hours ago. She hasn’t thrown up since then, hopefully she won’t throw up anymore but if she does it anymore tonight or tomorrow I definitely will take her into the vets. It’s quite possible. It could also mean that she ate something that is disagreeing with her tummy. Has she eaten anything unusual?
If she continues vomiting, she may need sub-q fluids or an anti-emitic. You can give her clear unflavored pedialyte instead of water in her bowl in the meantime.
Keep an eye on her.
She seems to be doing better todayShe should be okay then. Like you said, it may be her system getting ready for labor and delivery. Keep us posted!
I definitely will let them know!Be sure to let the caregiver know what to look for as well - excessive vomiting or diarrhea, water breaking, pushing during labor for more than an hour with no success, etc. Just in case since she’s close!
Yes she gets spayed next month on the 10th. It would’ve been sooner but they’re swamped with surgeries right nowDid you set the spay appointment?
