Good morning! :wave3: And Happy Friday! :yess:

What items do you plug in to re-charge? Phone? IPad? Laptop?

Let me see.....
  • Two phones (Rick's and mine) Thankfully, since we both got new phones, we're no longer charging them every day!
  • Rick's iPad and my iPad
  • My Kindle Paperweight
  • The Nook that Rick's mom uses (I bring it home every week, clean it up, put more ebooks on it, then charge it back up. The next day I take it back to her)
  • We have a Toshiba laptop that Rick uses, so I re-charge it every week, do virus scans, etc. The laptop started out as mine, but I don't really care for it much. I prefer using my iPad as it's easier to use in bed, on the couch, etc.
  • My Fitbit Blaze gets charged twice a week
  • My iPod gets charged every weekend
  • Can't forget the toothbrushes! :)
What about you? What do you charge?

I love gadgets. I’m the tech person in the family. Let’s see...
  • Two iPhones
  • Two iPads
  • MacBook Pro (mine) and Dell (his) laptops
  • Two small Bluetooth speakers
  • Two electric toothbrushes
  • Cordless trimmer for long-haired cat pantaloons
  • Bluetooth earbuds (arriving today!)
  • Apple TV remote, although that almost never needs to be charged
  • The Spouse has various cordless tools
And probably more that I can’t remember.

LG Cell Phone (not a smartphone)
Ipad
Amazon Kindle Fire
Batteries
Hand Vacuum- I hate it! It doesn't keep the charge very long.
Electric Toothbrush- others in the household, it's too harsh on my teeth

I'm thinking of getting an Electric Razor that's rechargeable. I'm just worried that it won't hold the charge long, like my hand vac. I wish they made corded ones, the only ones I've seen are men's rotary, which I hate.

My phone. My tablet. My battery handwarmer. My laptop. My iTENS (wireless TENS machine). My toothbrush. My G-tech vacuum cleaner. I think that's it for me. Oh, and a little colourchange cat nightlight thing my parents gave me (not very often for that, as it's a pain to charge up).

My parents have two phones, two or three radios, and another toothbrush unit. I think that's everything.

We're not huge on tech in this house. I only have a tablet because it came as a free gift when we switched phone and broadband providers a few years back;):yess:. I think I have at least as many self care tools as actual tech type stuff! I'm dreadful for buying alternative pain relief or self care tools/aids/tech

I'm with Norachan Norachan on this one. I'm not a gadget person. I can barely figure out how to work the new washing machine. It's all new fangled with too many buttons. :stars:
Unfortunately for me, most things you buy these days have a charger, so the phone gets charged. The big desktop system no, but the laptop yes. The camera needs charged, a few of our tools for the animals (a nice set of clippers for the dogs and horses ears, etc.) need not be plugged in, but set in a charger attached to a plus. The small weed eater battery too and some other small tools.

Oh and I have a Kindle I never use and it needs charged.

It's safe to say I don't know where have of these chargers are located. :eviltongue:

Yes!! It drives me crazy. I don’t know how much money I’ve spent on supposedly rechargeable hand-held vacuums that refuse to hold a charge after a few months. I’ve given up. My hand helds are now corded.

We had a little hand held dust buster (remember those?) for years. That thing worked hard and died hard.
Then we got a newer model and same thing. It ran for about 10 seconds then crapped out. We had it for doing a good clean on the tiny cracks between hardwood floors, so we named it the "Crack Vac."

Can you link me to your corded hand vac? I'm ready to throw this rechargeable one in the trash! ;)
Here’s the one I bought. I’ve had it for a year. Light weight, excellent suction and a long cord. I like the attached crevice tool, too. Very convenient. It’s perfect for getting litter out of cracks and also great for getting the back edges of stairs. You’ll see from the reviews that people comment on how loud it is, and it is. Needless to say, the cats are not fans. :)

Thank you! I'm gonna order it. Great price! My piece of cr@p rechargeable one is going in the trash. Well, okay maybe I will recycle it if I can. ;)
Lets all put the rechargables together.
I'll see if I can find a way to connect them.
I mean, when we say "this thing SUCKS", we mean it literally. Sometimes.
If they're all hooked together, we can build a super-vac that will rival a black hole. TCS will take over the world!
