Hello everyone. I've already posted about this but didn't get much back. So I'm posting for a second time in hopes that you all might have experienced this/or your cat may have have similar symptoms? In which case it would really help me and my kitty.
My cat first started out with a UTI in June, he got medication and this cleared up in no time and he was urinating again. Then shortly after this UTI issue he began curling his toe when walking... we brought him back to vets, he said it may be because of the UTI his muscles have been strained. Then fast forward to now and he's slowly gotten worse. Now dragging his lower half of body most the time, and going toilet is getting progessively harder for him. It's almost though his leg is stiff and his balance goes sometimes he doesn't seem to be in any pain, no crying but it's obvious he's quite fed up of not being able to walk like normal. Like I said this happened so suddenly and he was an active cat only 3 months ago! Now he is the opposite. He eats normally and purrs when I stroke him and give him attention, Another strange thing is that he sometimes falls over and his tail seems to fall with him? He also sometimes licks things a lot like metal, or fabrics or painted surfaces... Please any of your thoughts or personal experiences may help us. I love him so much and he's such a gentle boy, I want to cure him but i and the vets so far have no idea what's wrong with him. His front legs are very strong and work fine it's just his left hind leg :-( help!!
This is him wearing his little socks I love him so much[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️
