today i made a new recipe -- (Italian) Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potatoes. i came across the recipe online, and it looked like it would be very good. it really was very tasty, and pretty easy to make too! this got me thinking about trying new foods and/or recipes.
so for today's Question of the Day, let's talk about new (to us) foods......
What was the most recent new food or recipe you tried? Did you like it?
Would you consider yourself adventurous, open to/interested in trying new foods/recipes?

the Italian Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potatoes was my most recent new recipe. i liked it very much; definitely 'a keeper'!
i would consider myself relatively adventurous, open to trying new foods. one recipe comes to mind, that was unusual but that i ended up really liking. that would be a recipe for Cuban Picadillo, which has raisins and green olives among the ingredients (
) -- http://allrecipes.com/recipe/163866...ContentType=search results&clickId=cardslot 2. i wasn't sure i'd like those two ingredients in the same dish, but they taste very good together -- in that recipe. another food i like that i had never tried until i became an adult is capers, which i like very much.
