Is there something I can give her to help settle her belly? She's clearly feeling nauseous. Poor thing.

Ok will try that. She did come greet the kids, sniffed her food but went back up to my room to sleep. Will have my husband pick up some pedialyte on his way home from work and I am making chicken for dinner tonight so will also make some for her and see if she will eat it. If not I will call the vet.Beyond offering plain boiled chicken or white rice, you can give her clear pedialyte to drink, or mix it into her water. The electrolytes are good for her. The vet can give her an anti-nausea medication. You may want to look into that. It's not good for her to go longer than a day without eating. Not eating can lead quickly to fatty liver problems in cats.
I can tell she is hungry, she was just sniffing her food again... I tried to go in and look at her nipples so I can tell what they look like now and can compare them if i need to in a few weeks but she hated me touching her in her belly and kicked me with her back legs. She has been sleeping in that spot most of the day. I notice my other cat is always "watching" her where as before she didn't pay much attention to her. She must know she doesn't feel well. While I am typing this she is back up and "calling" at the window again so that is a good sign? She did for a couple min. then went running back upstairs and is quiet again so probably going back to sleep.Sounds like a plan. It's good she greeted the kids. Hopefully the chicken will appeal to her, even just a few tiny pieces.
Ya she is still in heat, she was up a good part of the night "calling" - so that is probably why she is sleeping so much today, and she was just calling at he window for a couple min again then ran back upstairsDo you think she's behaving like she's still in heat?
The earliest I could get an appt for after calling area low cost spay is end of May. I have the appointment but if she turns out to be pregant at that point I won't get it done until afterwards. I won't terminate especially that far in.Oh, good. Are you going to go ahead and schedule her spay?
I hope so. She was up on and off through out the night calling again last night. She also must be feeling better because she ate her food this morning and is going between calling at the window and fighting/playing with our other cat.It does sound like she may be at the tail end of her heat cycle.
was hoping to avoid the vet bill but I will call and get her an appt.Yes, it needs to be checked by a vet.
