...with the cats...
i just finished watching the most recent episode of Blindspot. last night i watched the next episode in the mini series The Assets -- really good, especially if you like espionage/spy shows, and it's based on actual events/a true story.

How lovely is that.. she's obviously a great fan of your ukulele playing and the bag gives her a front row seat!

Oh god. I barely even want a front row seat to my own ukulele playing. I just started learning how to play it a few months ago and its still a little bit terrible.

What is your favorite song to play?  Do you know Tiptoe through the Tulips?  I remember hearing it on the radio when I would get ready for school in the mornings.

I love Lava from the short in Pixar's Inside Out. I don't know Tiptoe Through the Tulips, but it would probably be a lot of fun. I am having a lot of problems with strumming patterns right now. I am not good at rhythm in general, but I love music and have always wanted to play an instrument, so I'm doing it anyhow.

I love fictional books that are written from a cat's perspective. There should be more of them, especially in the fiction section of Books-A-Million.

Examples? I can't think of any other than Socks by Beverly Cleary. One of my favorite books is a book written from the perspective of a dog. It is called The Art of Racing in the Rain. More or less my favorite book in the world.

My daughter has a book titled, "The 12 Cats of Christmas". It's a really sweet book that she's had since she was little, and wanted it read to her every night leading up to Christmas.

I am absolutely positively sure you could do a better job of Tiptoe through the Tulips than Tiny Tim:

We got more rain!
We got 5 1/2 inches two weeks ago, so this is perfect for all the seeds to start  sprouting. It's strange how they all seem to have their own time to sprout, the petunias start coming up the beginning of april, the cosmos and portulaca next, then the marigolds and zinnias last. I save a lot on plants by having them self seed from year to year but it is difficult weeding when they are all over the place. I've already weeded 3 times, it would be a lot easier to grow weeds!

:lol3::lol3::lol3::lol3: Now that brings back memories!

tallyollyopia tallyollyopia Apart from the Joe Grey series, there are the Mrs. Murphy mysteries by Rita Mae Brown (not as good, but fine for light reading).
NewYork1303 NewYork1303 I loved The Art of Racing in the Rain. It's one of those books you hold on to and reread every couple of years.

We're still getting snow flurries!

Morning is over now here, however today the weather is great, clean and warm, it's about 71f, sunny, birds are happy singing and my kittens are also happy under the sunshine. Only outside cars are feeling bad as they're all muddy from yesterday's sandstorm.
Weather have been dramatically changing at the last years...

Guess I'll be tiptoeing through tulips in no time then.
Morning is here and my cats wanted to wake me up by rolling all over my legs for some reason.

I know what that is like. I woke up this morning with Sophie and Henry in the bed with me. Henry was being his usual gentlemanly self and just relaxing. Miss Sophie was climbing all over me to wake me up for breakfast. She knows when I am reaching for the snooze button and smacks my hand with her paw. She's too smart for my own good.

That's exactly what happens here. Then I have Carrot meowing all morning for second breakfast. They get wet food when I get up and then dry when I leave for work. Carrot prefers the dry and complains until I put it in his bowl even after eating his wet food.

My college daughter is having final exams now, and is writing back to back take home exam papers, and taking test after test. She is very organized, but it's taking a toll. It's a lot of work at the end. Thank goodness she is through at the end of next week - until summer session begins!
