I rescued a kitten about a year and a half ago and I was told she was fixed well turns out they lied cause she got out the very beginning of December and now she's pregnant I need some advice I feel them move and she's starting to get aggressive she's always kept to her self but for the past 3 weeks she's been so lovable but as of like 3 hours ago she's starting to get aggressive like I'd pet her and she's start growling and hissing is this a sign of labor and she's also cleaning herself a lot but I'm not seeing discharge but notto sound like a weirdo but her private area is really puffy is this normal?? And she will be fixed asap

I guess its beginning of the labor, or at least, some precontractions.  When in pain, they usually have less patience than usual...  Try to count exactly how long the pregnancy was!  Or if you can remember exactly when she got pink teats, or when you began to feel the kittens move - it may help to get a count.

Here are some of my links.   Good luck!

Goats milk is useful instead of kmr. Raw goat milk is best – fresh or frozen,  but bottled /cartooned or  powdered full fat is OK too.

Observe, if an orphan is much bloated, gas-filled, bloated, have colic, simethicone (google on it) may help.  1-2 drop in the bottle.

Fleece or flannel good to use in the bedding for kittens.

I hope its precontractions, a way of mother nature to train up and strenghen the muscles.  As its quite early for delivery.

How good at feeling on her abdomen do you are?  Did you felt every day, and began to feel the kittens move two days ago? - if so, you should have about two weeks left.   If you feel just occasionally, and two days ago you did happened to feel them move - you really dont know when they will be due.

But of course, you must be observant.   They can get sick although they are pregnant.

Make sure you know which vet is nearby - and preferably knowleable in basic obstetrics.  Not all vets are, when so many cats are routinely spayed, or have owners whom dont care or dont afford.

I've talked to my vet and he said she most likely conseived on the 2nd if she did she's only 3 days early but I've tried to feel often but she doesn't like being touched so it was hard to feel them move they could've been moving more than 3 days ago I just never felt them @StefanZ

Do you have a nest made for her? She may have conceived on both dates. Heat cycles last about a week. It does sound like she's having some contractions. It could be pre-labor or the real thing. Just keep an eye on her. You can spay her when the kittens are 8 weeks old.

Many cats are picky and like multiple nest options. Keep us posted!

This may mean they are dropping into the birth canal.  You will see them moving less if this is the case.

Her stomach also feels a little smaller to day I've checked the liter box and the nesting box and stuff for wet spots in case her water broke but nothing

Yes, the stomachs often look smaller when they drop.

I would recommend getting a few things ready.  A kitchen scale is great for weighing kittens.  You should also have a can of powdered kmr.  Kittens can drink it if they aren't getting enough milk from mom, but mom can also drink it for extra nutrition.  You should also have a needleless syringe in case the babies need feeding.

I already have a big can of the kmr cause my vet said I should mix it with mamas food and I've been doing that for like 3 weeks I also have syringe and a bag with sterile scissors floss and plastic gloves cause I've read sometimes they need help with umbilical cords I don't have a scale though do you know where I can get one??

Walmart has them.  You just want a little kitchen scale that weighs in ounces or grams.
