You can use honey instead!
That's totally sufficient, then.Talkingpeanut I have stated in pervious posts that I am using honey!
I can imagine sport stores for athletes should have it - both in bigger packages and in small tabletes, just to take in mouth and go.
I live in the UK now and cant find light karo unless I go online and wait days and paid a small fortune. idk if my local stores sell it in the baking area and we dont really have baking suplly stores
I agree with SArthur. Im Deep sorry if I wasnt enough clear earlier on what to do. And yes, take the safe before the unsafe, and take charge of the feeding. If she manages take somewhat from mom, this is sheer bonus, but dont count on this.
Woke up this morning to a very weak little fae (runt kitten) took mum and babies to vet this morning. The vet is worried as she has lost weight but like me does not want to count the kitten out just yet. Vet could not find anything wrong physcially but she areed that maybe the kitten could just not have pooed and that might be another cause. Told me if I want to give her 24-48 hrs and give her more honey stright into the mouth and feed her and clean her and keep her warm. both me and my husband did not want to give up just yet either to be fair but she has a 50/50 chance so to me that is better then nothing. We both agreed tho if she shows no improvment in the next 24-48 hrs we will do the right thing and end any suffering that she is going through.. But to me I will feel like a failure as I have never lost a runt and really do not want to but that is life and it can be cruel!
@StefanZ: you must have missed the post above. Little Fae lost her battle yesterday.
Little fae is safe in the land of the faires. Yes I'm a oddie but thats ok lol. Our vet seem just as if not more upset then me and my husband about her passing. I think she was tempted to ask to do a after death search of her to see if maybe there was something she missed. The other 5 babies are doing well tho and their mother is driving me nuts lol. She keeps moving one kitten (random) here there and every where and then she acts like she is suprised the kitten is their.
she keeps meowing her head off to can't figure it out really I have had may cats and their babies in the past but never one that would not shut up no matter were she or the babies are (which they are never far from her).
