Thanks so much! The vet did give Zeldan cans of urinary so wet food but he won't eat it. So I've gone out and bought a few tins of various wet food to try over the next few days to see if I can find something that he can like which isn't Friskies. I phoned the vet back and asked if there's anything else but was basically told if he doesn't get on the urinary SO that this is going to be something that is forever. I'm super frustrated.Hi thecatlady3.
You are from Canada? That can be .Small world we live in. :beerpals: You have been given some great advice.Any canned food honey is better overall as per flushing the bladders of all your kitties.Friskies here in Canada is around 50 cents a can. There is a cat nutrition dept in this group.I believe you can find it on the homepage of this group..Sorry I had the link but flew in cyber.
Anyhow apparent scientific studies of foods etc.Supposed to be a good read.If your baby is showing bacteria make sure they do a sensitivity test to confirm what type of bacteria she has and what antibiotic it takes to kill it.This is actually growing the bacteria, which takes depending on who does it usually 3 days. Some get results sooner.
Pls get all copies of any tests your kitty has.It will show PH which is huge for crystals.Blood,USG,rods, casts etc.All pertinent even if you do not understand it.If you want more info on Flutd symptoms & how to prevent them & help all three from coming down with it.As it does get very expensive I know.Pls private message me.OK?
Hugs to the babies.C.
