what is the formula for wet food feeding.
Most people generally feed by how many calories their cat needs daily, generally 20 to 25 calories per pound of ideal body weight. A 10 pound average cat may need 200 to 250 calories per day to maintain weight. That's about six 3 oz cans or two 5.5 oz cans daily.

theres a saying of 5% of the cats weight also for kitten ?

Keep in mind that calorie needs varies among cats due to certain factors: breed (some active breeds may need a lot of calories), health status (sick cats may need more calories than usual), age (kittens need a lot of food and calories while seniors may not need a lot), and other things. My 10 pound Abyssinian eats a little less than 200 calories of raw food daily and his body condition and health are very good. He's thin but that's typical for the breed and super active. My 8 pound rescue cat eats the same raw food but not as much and she's also in good health. She's "big boned" and fluffy and looks like a tank but I can easily feel her ribs.
Here's an article about how much food to feed: http://www.thecatsite.com/a/how-much-food-should-i-feed-my-cat
Here's are charts with calorie and nutritional info for many brands of canned foods:

If a cat need to lose weight, the calorie intake needs to be slowly reduced over several weeks until the cat reaches optimal weight. Reducing calories too fast can result in fatty liver disease.
