Does anyone else have a problem with the cube slice and minced recipe?
We've had a few that don't seem to have a particular protein intolerance, but are sensitive to gums and other thickeners, particularly carrageenan.
What other foods have you fed that your cat has tolerated?
Hmm she's able to eat raw egg quail and chicken just fine. I find this really strange. I was thinking it might be the greens? If I'm not wrong it does contain peas and other greens rightOk. The minced Wellness has about double the ingredients of the kitten Wellness CORE. The minced has a higher carb content and also contains dried egg whites and dried egg product. Either of these could be the culprit for the diarrhea.
I agree with CatPack about the ingredient list of Wellness's minced foods: it's a long list and there are lots of potential problems on it.Ok. what is carrageenan? please do explain more on this , and how did you know the food contained this ?
Cats' stomachs can be so hard to predict! One of ours can't eat foods with potato because they make her vomit.

Also: our cats love the Wellness CORE kitten food, which they get as an occasional treat, and they both seem to do fine with it. I keep our cats on a pretty low-carb diet--they're Siamese mixes and their stomachs are kind of finicky--so have never fed them anything Wellness other than some of the CORE foods (the low-carb ones without potato) but I even limit those to just every now and then because they all have carrageenan.
Good luck figuring this out!
