First of all I would like to explain that I have worked with a dog rescue for years and am a firm believer in spay/neuter and she will be spayed as soon as possible. I have gone over the forums for days but have not found answers to my specific questions so I am hoping I can get some help.
1. As she is a stray that lived in the woods behind our house well over a year I have no idea when she got pregnant or her specific changes in behavior. I just know she is pregnant because as soon as she latched on to me I took her to the vet. The vet took an ultrasound but the cat was uncomfortable so she could not tell exactly what kind of litter she had. She adopted me about a month and a half ago.
2. Her tummy has definitely gotten bigger but it's not as large as most cats. Does this mean it will be a small litter?
3. I have not once felt the kitten/kittens move.
4. I thought for sure she was going into labor last night. She was licking her genitals all the time and a pinkish substance kept coming out but, since last night, nothing.
Now she acts and looks perfectly healthy and I do not want to waste money at a vet just because I'm panicky but do I need to worry? Yes, I read the article 'when to worry and not to worry' lol.
