I have a 9 yr old female spayed black cat, She's extremely healthy, plays nice, seems to be content in her life. She eats well, is on a diet right now though because she recently had her check up at the vet and even though it was a clean bill of health, she has 4 lbs to loose. She gets around fine though.
Anyway, I live in a condo, and change my cat's litter box on a daily basis, She, once every other week will poop outside her litter box, usually right next to it as if she's hanging her butt too far over the box, but a couple of times since I've moved here 4yrs ago, she has pooped across the room. I don't understand it. My vet took a fecal sample, turned out negative. what could be causing her to do this?
