Hi there, I have a small problem. So my kitty's litter box is between my toilet and the shower (its a sliding door so there is no issue with the water getting to the litter). This is the only place in the house that works for us and the cat so I can't move it. I have a hooded box without the plastic flap (it got lost somewhere, sad face) and we have a small cat rug for litter to grab to. The issue is that we can't have it come out too far because our shower rug is there and the floor is freezing without it in the morning. The cat does a lot of digging and of course she does it in the direction of the door of her box half the time so we end up with not only litter on the mat but also litter in front of the shower and on the shower mat. My boyfriend has repeatedly stepped on the litter that is on our carpet thus fusing it to the carpet. I don't know if anyone knows how to get that out but that would be cool. I actually came to ask if there are any recommendations for maybe a rug or something that can catch more of the litter? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money but I also don't want to have to wake up every morning and shake out the mat and then sweep before I shower.
