Okay. For those of you who know my other posts, you know I have two cats. One of which is thought to be part feral. Well, he's the one I am asking about.
Despite it being easier for him to let my family know he needs food or to go out, he wakes me up all hours of the day and night to do that for him. Does he do it to let me know he LIKES me or is it because he DOESNT like me? I mean, by now he KNOWS that even if the house was burning down, wake me up and I might just kill you. I actually almost wanted to strangle him this morning. I didn't get to sleep till 3 and he has had me up since 8. If I spray lemon/lime/orange scents around my room will he bugger off? (Or learn not to come around before noon and after 130AM? Cause I love having him in here with me most times.)
Also, he's a BIG cat and he is ALWAYS on my laptop. I worry about that damaging the laptop so I shoo him away. That gets me hurt. And doesn't teach him anything. I am realizing he probably just likes the old pillow I keep over the laptop to protect it from damage from plugs falling from the walls. (The outlet is older than I am and things plugged into it fall out a lot. Making charging things a pain.) So, if I put that pillow on the floor for him, do you think he'd learn not to get on the laptop?
I don't want to keep dealing with this; 12 years of his crap is long enough. (By now you'd think him being fat and lazy means he cant jump, right? That's what I hoped but...he can jump higher than my much younger female most days.)
