About a month ago I posted about a friendly stray cat that wasn't feeling good, she had brown gunk from her eyes and liquidy ears that were bothering her. Except for a tooth extracted last year she was in great health for 8 years old.
Past two weeks her health declined quickly. She has been constantly lethargic, hardly eating or drinking but previously drinking a lot, I feel one day she had a temperature, and at the vets they showed me her gums are pure white she is anemic and has a heart murmur now and lost nearly 3 pounds!
They confirmed no upper respitory or ear infection, no tooth infections, and no sign of poisoning.
I've never had a cat get this sick so I'm worried, they are keeping her overnight doing blood work and urine analysis and started antibiotics but they aren't sure as of yet what's wrong with her.
What's the worst is once she's home she's back outside and can't properly rest I can't cage her or bring her in so I'm worried she might not get better or take longer to get better.
Any idea what could be wrong?
