Well I found a kitten (7 months old) and he had a throw up problem. I kept switching food. 7 years later he still has the problem. I took him to my vet (yes throughout the years), many test, a lot of $$ and he (vet) put him on Royal Canin prescription diet. It helped a lot but he still throws up. When he throws up the food still is in tact, shape and all. Usually throws up within 5 minutes of eating.
I took him to another vet and told me to put him on strictly wet food. I did, Blue Buffalo - Wilderness. it helped a lot but has occasion throws up. The vet called and said all looks good with the blood work and all but looks like pre-kidney disease. So I figured I would transfer him to raw. He loves boiled chicken and I don't seem to see he throws that up. But looks like he is throwing up on Rad Cat. So I am going to lay off of the Raw Rad Cat and see how he does on Primal Formula.
Yes I also limit his intake on the amount, so I feed him several times a day small portions to help keep him from throwing up but it doesn't always work.
Any suggestions? By the way x-ray has shown up nothing. He is neutered male about 6-7 lbs, ever over.
