I would beg to differ, as would these vets:
I'm probably not the best help you can get, but I'll try to!
As far as I'm concerned, wet food is more of an extra, and dry food is what cats should eat as their basic food. It's not a must to do it this way, but it's adviced by many people and vets I know.
This is a common issue with gravy type foods. Will your cat eat pate style foods? Most of the pate styles are more healthy for cats (less carbs). You can blend the food in a blender or Magic Bullet to make a smooth gravy consistency. You may need to add a little water depending on the texture. There are some other tips in this thread:how do i get my cat to eat all her wet food. she is just into the gravy and leaving the rest. help
If she doesn't eat well overall, maybe something else is going on. I don't know how old she is, but if this is a recent/new problem, or if she's still young, I suggest going to a vet to get her checked out. One of my cats wasn't eating well either, and a few days later she had blood in her stool; turned out to be Giardia. So if she's really not eating enough, get her checked.she eats dry food as well but very little of that as well
