Last night at 11pm Sid had her "green mucus plug", luckily this was in her nesting box as she was already led in there quite happily. After waiting an hour and a half we decided to get some sleep but set an alarm for 4am. We woke up at 4 and to our amazement Sid had birthed her first kitten. At 4:30am she had her second. She barely made a sound and was so good throughout it all!

Baby no. 2 (LOOK AT HIS FACE OMG)
We've introduced them to the dad very cautiously, we carried him in and let him sniff them. He licked them and then licked Sid on the face. He wanted to get into the nesting box and cuddle with them but we thought it was too soon, so he's roaming the house as she is confined to our bedroom. (As you can see in the photo he is being held back just to be on the safe side.)
