You should definitely be concerned if she is eating less than she used to.This girl is 6yrs and breeder doesn't seem at all concerned so perhaps I should not be?
Glad it was just pickness rather than something wrong.I am sorry...new to the forum, and thought I started a new thread until I saw replies. Was ready to call vet,but think I have found the problem: SHE likes the dry ok...good brand until breeder brand comes in. I was feeding her wet canned kitten food, but she didn't like it...broke open the inexpensive Friskies in gravy ~ she ate well and licked her chops. Sorry I was a dumb bell... I haven't had kittens in yrs and missed it. Feeling better now. She has had 2 vet appointments in the last month~ one to confirm pregnancy and another before shipping. I hate to stress her with another if it's not needed, but any more worries and I will take her in. Have money set aside for her just in case. Thanks for listening.
I think breeder thought it was just an adjustment period. You should definitely be concerned if she is eating less than she used to.
Call up a vet to get their opinion and take her in if they think it's necessary.
I would have a word or two with this breeder if it were me....
p.s you should open up a new thread so we don't sidetrack this one any further.
