Since both the cats have ear mites and fleas the vet gave them advantage-multi. She told me to use that for a few months to kill off all the mites and fleas then if I wanted I could switch to something cheaper that just does fleas.
But I was reading the Advantage-multi pamphlet and it says it protects them from fleas, ear mites, Heartworms, Roundworms, Hookworms and some larval stages of worms. It is going to cost me about $88.00 for six which would last for three months (2 cats)
The other stuff only does fleas but is cheaper and she says since they are indoor they should be okay. I'm a bit torn any advice would be welcome.
