I've never heard of Biscoff, either. Nutella is the most popular spread here, I'd think. Peanut butter has never really caught on. I suspect that most of the people buying it are ex-pats.
When I first moved to Germany it was almost impossible to get decent peanut butter, but now there's a small selection from the UK in most supermarkets. Lidl, a box store chain, has its own brand which isn't at all bad, but it's not available all the time.
I am glad to find someone else who likes Nutella.  I love it on everything.  I try to tell myself I am not being too naughty when I eat in on rice cakes.

Nutella cake ?! Waow... That brings back childhood memories

I don't think French people eat peanut butter at all, but you can probably find it in shops which sell foreign stuff. We do find maple syrup and bbq sauce in Monoprix now (the Paris store where most Parisians get their groceries when they want to avoid extravagantly expensive small shops !) - even some from Canada & the US, but I never saw peanut butter.

You can get it here in Intermarche and Carrefour. They even carry American brands. But it's true - only those of us who haved lived in the US tend to buy it, and I only use it for cooking.

The Lidl brand isn't bad at all, though what we get here might not be the same stuff they sell in France. The taste is fine, but it's a bit thick to spread.
