I was teasing you, hon.WhollyCat, don't worry about the declawing issue. I will not let that determine who helps me create my website.

Please be aware of the forum rules regarding ads in your signature. If you haven't paid them yet, you just tell them you decided to go in a different direction (in a nice way!). Oh my...I didn't realize I could put an "ad" in my signature. I didn't want to get in trouble, so that is why I haven't. I guess as long as it's not "in your face" it would be acceptable.
Website promotion is not allowed, other than in a discreet link in your signature, or an ad in the marketplace forum.
It will look even better when the period is deleteed (why did I put that there?) and the font type is changed (I did not want Times New Roman).Emily your logo is beautiful! I have a good eye for that kind of stuff as my husband designs them. What you are doing is awesome. It takes a lot of love and courage to do something like this.
The cats/paw/heart design is based on the common belief that "cats touch our hearts in life and live in them after they die." That is so true.I showed the updated logo to my hubby and he says it looks great! I like how the 2 cats have their paw on the heart.
But they also will make a letterhead and give it to me in several formats. All I know is most computer images are in jpg format and Photoshop, which I don't have on my computer, would cost a lot more than $60. Compare that to the $352 I spent on the original logo, and $60 is not bad. Of course, if I was able to do it on my computer, I would not pay ridiculous amounts of money for this.Looks good. I do hope you didn't have to pay the original $60 for this. It would take all of 15 minutes in Photoshop to change what they did.
I am guessing the most common reason is they don't know how to do it at home and another is they don't know Photoshop can edit the logos. In my case, it was not having Photoshop.Usually logos cost more than that. I agree that it could have been done with Photoshop. However, some people just don't want to mess with it; or do not have time.
