There’s some kind of string or worm coming out of my cat’s anus? I’m away from home and this was sent to me by a family member. They said he wouldn’t let them touch it, but now it’s gone, and there’s some bleeding near his anus. He had a wound there from a few weeks ago that he kept licking from when my other cat attacked him there, but it had healed, but today we saw this worm or string and then it started bleeding again, so I don’t know if the two are related! My vet isn’t responding now so I’m not sure what to do. Any insight?

Keep trying to contact your vet or get him to an emergency vet, and let us know what they say 
Does you vet have someone on call after hours? If you can't reach them, I would consider this as an emergency and have your family take him in. The blood scares me. Also I wouldnt attempt to pull it out in case it his a string, the string can be tangled
