Our battery back-up died for good this am. DH had just left for work and i had put on the kettle for my on -the- way- to- work-cuppa- coffee. High pitched squealing ensued and I wondered what the heck is up with the range????? Turns out it was the battery pack! Glad I was home....the cats would have had a bad day if it had happened 10 minutes later! Got a temp solution with a surge protection strip...after DH got home and hooked me up. So I need to go get a new battery pack tomorrow. I actually was planning on spending my bonus day off at home, going nowhere. I could wait but I don't trust a strip. I am glad to be back on line...it was hard! lol!
