Wild cat

Hi I live in the country for about 3 years people have been talking about a wild cat recently I've made contact with it and started feeding him it's been hard work but I've finally won him over he won't leave my side and can't have enough fuss he's all messed up and ruff scabby but so friendly and placid think he's just happy to have somewhere to call home but I've noticed that he's check's are so fat hard fat and he's head is very hot

It is very kind of you to befriend this cat. I am going to guess that he has been in fights, especially if he is an unneutered male, or been injured in some way. Something hard or fat could be an abscess and he could also have a fever from an infection. Can you take him to a vet for some basic treatment of his wounds. There may be a low cost spay/neuter service available through a rescue in your area.

I would suggest taking him to a vet to get him checked over. The PDSA is really good, they do cheap vet care for students or people on a low income.
