White stuff around kitten's anus

I noticed that there is a white thing around my kitten's anus. He poops just fine and seems to be unaffected by it but I'm worried if it might be something serious in the long term. Does anyone have an idea what this might be? (I was wondering if it is litter stuck on his anus) We tried to get it off but to no avail.

It does look like litter, do you use one like that. Try putting a dab of vasaline on it and wipe the spot to remove it.

Thank you! I got it off after a few tries and he got litter there again. Thank god it wasn't anything serious! Thank you once again
