Found rejected kitten about 2 weeks old, its my first time caring for a kitten so young. I did some research and apparently, most kittens have worms and that deworming can start at 2 weeks. But, most deworming medication is for over 6 weeks old kitten? Is there a brand which is safe for 2 week kittens or do I have to wait till they are older? Thanks in advance for any advice I receive.

If the kitten is thriving I would wait until 6 weeks, but otherwise, your vet can give a kitten dose of dewormer. Most are very safe; it’s just that the kitten’s system is not fully developed yet and the worming can result in diarrhea or vomiting in one so young.
