We used to keep it at 68 before we had kids. When our kids were babies I didn't want them cold and not sleeping well. Now we keep it around 70/71 so it doesn't get down to 67 before the heat kicks back on. But after that if you're cold; put on more clothing.

67 degrees during the day, 63 at night. Auto thermostat is programmed to warm up to daytime temp about a half hour before I get up.

70 during the day. Or a bit higher if it's a serious freeze.
At night it goes down to 67-68. Easier to bundle up with lots of bedding or an electric blanket. During the day I work from home and the house is old and a bit drafty but I hate being overdressed so 70 it is.

Currently the temperature Is set at 68F all day. If we get a deep freeze in the near future it's likely the temperature will Increase to 72F.

Way lower than is listed on your poll.

If you have it too warm indoors you'll die of shock when you step outside on our chilly winter days.

67ish. I only heat my bedroom if it's VERY cold so it's usually more 55 +/-. (I sleep better in the cold!)

We have an older house so I put the thermostat on 72 and it keeps the house temp at 70. At night I put the thermostat on 66 unless we are having a really cold snap and then I put it on 70 otherwise the kitchen pipes freeze.

The only reason I have the heat on is so the pipes don't freeze at night.
I prefer it on the colder side. Even with snow on the ground, it's usually warm outside during the day.

It used to be more like 66-67 degrees F, but as I age, I am more sensitive to the cold (although not so severly as heat). Probably because I am no longer as mobile as I used to be. Now, it is 68, but an hour before I take my bath, I bump it up to 70, then back down once I'm out, dry, and in my snuggly nightgown and fuzzy socks!
