Hi!! We got our cat Squid as an adult, and have always been curious about what breed/coloring she is! I haven’t seen another cat that looks quite like her, so if anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them!! ◡̈ (attached some funny pics for good measure 😂)

Squid is very pretty!!! I would consider her to be a DLH (domestic long haired) dilute Tortoiseshell - with (some) white maybe, as I can't tell from the lighting. The DLH would be considered the 'breed' (without pedigree papers to denote otherwise); the dilute tortie is defining her coat coloring/pattern. Torties always have such unique coats!

Agree! diluted tortie, but no white.
The withish around mouth is secondary signs for being a tabby.
The withish on legs is really creme - its a tortie...
The whitish mane is quite common on longhair cats with big mane.

Green eyes are a small confirmation she is a tortie, as torties surprising often have green eyes. Why I dont know, there is no theorethical connection, but its far more commen than just coincidence.

Very pretty handsome, gorgeous cat!

ps. If she is visibly biggish, so perhaps there is some MCO ancestry.
