Last night my boyfriend Jack stayed over at my place with me to keep an eye on me since I wasn't feeling well.
We watched a movie at home before we went to bed and I noticed that Kojak was being exra goofy: running around and chasing both girl kitties and even trying to chase both dogs. Once he settled down, Kojak sat in my lap during the entire movie, so I hardly think the feline was neglected!
After the movie, Jack walked the dogs and then we called it an early night. Around 6am we woke up to the sound of glass breaking and things crashing everywhere. Now keep in mind I took a pain pill before I went to bed because of my GI issues, so sometimes they give me weird dreams. I was half awake and thought I was still dreaming.
When Jack jumped out of bed though and shook me a bit I knew I wasn't dreaming anymore. He snuck into the living room to see what had happened. Considering how loud the crash was, we both thought that one of the glass end tables had been broken (thankfully that wasn't the case). I got up just in time to see Kojak's collar in the middle of the floor, broken glass crosses in my dining area, and half of my new Christmas ornaments (which had been on the table in the living room for a while) drug into the guest bedroom.
He even drug the bag with my Christmas wooden bird house into the guest room and that thing is as big as him! I had gone shopping several weeks ago to get things on sale and never dreamed his fluffy butt would get into it! Apparently Kojak decided to play demolition kitten last night! I had quite a few glass/metal crosses sitting on my table in the dining room that were waiting to be hung up in my apartment (I always do a cross wall in my place). The little rugrat knocked all of them into the floor and broke two of the glass ones (Jack thinks he can fix them). Kojak also felt the need to decorate early for Christmas as he took my shopping bags off of the table and scattered my new Christmas ornaments everywhere!
Once I tracked the little rascle down, I was able to scruff him and make sure he didn't have any glass on him; he was ok, but he KNEW he was in trouble lol.
Is it just me, or are the boy kitties more mischevious?!?!
After the week I've had, I defintiely needed a laugh- Kojak's guilty face was priceless!
