Weird Scent Rub??

Ok first thing I have a black Bombay female and when we go to bed she does the normal scenting with the nose cheek gum rub, but she has been adding a tooth rub as well. It’s not really hard, but hard enough that you can definitely feel it because it’s on the top of my nose. I know it’s her scent marking me but does the added tooth mean anything or is she just really getting into the rub???

I've noticed one of my cats sort of "smiles" when I pet her and she's really purring. "Smiles" means her top lip comes up and her teeth show. If she were to rub my face, I'm sure I'd feel her teeth. My other 2 cats don't do that.

I think your kitty is just really enjoying herself.

My girl does exactly this when she's having cheek and chin rubs. It's just an extension of scent marking, and an expression of her love
