Hello!
I'm Heather. I'm 24 and live in Pennsylvania with my boyfriend of 7 years, 2 kids, 2 kitties, 1 dog and 1 ball python. We will be moving to Michigan in the Spring and we can't wait!
This is Warwick. He is almost 3 and we adopted him Dec 2014. He is a very active kitty. He is my baby and I don't know what I'd do without him! :heart4:.
This is Stella. She is 9 months old and we adopted her Nov 2016. She is still going through the crazy kitten stage, but she's not too bad
Here they are together :heart4: They love each other and Warwick defends her when he thinks the dog is picking on her (which he isn't, he just thinks he is :lol3.
Right now they eat a mix of Fromm Game Bird dry & Friskies poultry pate wet food, which I hate. Warwick used to have urinary tract swelling issues, so we started them on wet and it completely went away. But I'm not satisfied feeding dry food and I hate feeding purina anything, so after calculating and researching these past couple of weeks, I started experimenting with raw foods to see if they would eat it. So far they've tried cornish hen muscle meat, chicken muscle meat, chicken heart, chicken liver, and egg yolk & shell and they just devour it. They've never been picky and have always loved their wet food, but since I've been giving them a little raw with their wet, they pick the raw out of the wet and eat it first!
So I figured I'd start trying a variety with them and ordered chicken, duck, turkey, sardine and rabbit products on Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow last night and will be trying the different organs, neck and bones with them this week! I'm going slow with it as I'm very new to it and I am not sure if they will be picky with anything yet or how they'll do with the bones and neck, so for now I'm just supplementing with some raw at night til I know they're completely ok with transitioning onto it and I'm more comfortable in figuring out how I'd like to divide and feed each day.
I'm so excited as I've been wanting to do this for sooo long!
