Ok, had to write this for support from you all. My feral, fed for 3 yrs daily, is missing. He usually is there in morning by 6-7am or bit later. He then later in morn, lays in shade on patio under us in the empty apt patio below. He is nowhere to be found. He is about 5yrs old & well fed. But he's FiV pos. So, I worry in this AZ heat that he'll dehydrate further damaging kidneys.
Ok, anyone have ideas? If he is hurt in a fight, lost in some way, runover, etc. he wouldn't be able to make it back here outback of our apt, aka his outside home, to where he lays from mid-morn on under us daily. I'm really very worried. He has his 2 cold water bowls but so far no sign of him. Maybe at dusk he'll come if he's able & hungry. No idea tho, as he hasn't done this in over a yr. There's 2 female cats he pals around sometimes w/ & they were seen out back this morn, & usually he hangs w/ them but no him yet. Very unusual for him.
